JOHN GIACCA (FCPA, JP) - PARTNER

John has 35 years of extensive experience in public practice, helping individuals and businesses with a particular focus on assisting small to medium enterprises with the management of their business affairs and maximising the wealth of owners in a wide variety of industry sectors.

He reviews current business performance with a view to implementing best practice and maximising the business financial performance. His experience allows John to provide a quality of service that incorporates both current trends with a history of knowledge and practical advice.

John commenced as a sole practitioner in 1986 and established Samuelson & Giacca in 1988

SIMON GIACCA (CA) - PARTNER

Simon graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2007 before working in Sydney with KPMG then Chapman Eastway, an accounting firm specialising in family businesses.

Simon has developed significant experience in advising a broad range of clients including high wealth individuals, small to medium enterprises, self-managed superannuation funds and has a particular interest in family owned and operated businesses.

He prides himself on developing strong client relationships with a 'hands on' approach and goes to great lengths to understand his clients business and play an active role in their success.

Simon's interest and experience in taxation has allowed him to provide value to clients through practical advice on areas such as Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Structuring and Restructuring.

RYAN GIACCA (CA) - PARTNER

Ryan graduated in 2011 from the University of Wollongong and started working at RSM Bird Cameron in Sydney. He spent time initially in the insolvency division before making the change to providing business services.

Ryan has a broad range of experiences and has advised a diverse range of people and organisations, with a focus on small to medium enterprises and wealthy family groups.

He works closely with his clients to gain an understanding of their needs and what is required for them to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Ryan brings a commercial mindset to decision making which, combined with his experience in taxation, enables him to effectively advise on important matters such as effective cash flow management and after-tax profit maximisation.

History

HISTORY

John Giacca commenced his accountancy practice in 1986 and then joined Paul Samuelson in 1988, establishing Samuelson & Giacca to provide traditional Accounting and Taxation Services. The firm has since continued to grow and seen its client base become varied and geographically widespread while still maintaining the high level of personal service established when the practice was founded.

We have earned the reputation as a firm which provides a consistently high level of service combined with the personalised and trusted relationship that is sought from the key advisor role.

Our core competency is in all areas of small to medium business and the practice now provides the full range of business and taxation services to clients from industries including retail, manufacturing, building and construction, health care, transport and many others.

Following the retirement of Paul in 2013, Simon Giacca became a Partner of the firm and quickly integrated himself into the fold and started to build upon the existing firm whilst focusing on the established values.

Ryan Giacca became a Partner in 2016 and has worked hard to create and develop trusted relationships with new and existing clients with a focus on servicing their requirements.

In 2018 the firm was renamed Giacca Partners to reflect the next stage of the firms progression and is looking forward to maintaining the legacy of high quality personalised service that the firm has become known for.
